I have a challenge; if you can hear, you can help.

 

​ACX gives me free promotional codes for the United States and Great Brittian for every audiobook I publish to Audible. The idea is that I'll provide them to friends, acquaintances, professional reviewers, and so forth, and they will listen to and review the audiobook. The more reviews a book has; the more likely someone will buy the audiobook.

 

It sounds like a great idea. But, there are a few challenges:

First, I have more codes than friends and acquaintances.

Second, when I read reviews online, I tend to discount those written by friends or relatives of the author or narrator.

 

​So here's my offer. Pick an audiobook from my Narrator page, head to my Contact page, and send me a note asking for a promo code. I'll send you a promotional code for the audiobook by email; if you listen to it, write a review, send me a screenshot of your review, and I'll send you a promotional code for another of my audiobooks.

 

​I do have a few requests:

1) Be honest.

2) Avoid spoilers.

3) Be polite.

4) Tell the reader what you liked.

5) If the audiobook deserved less than stellar ratings, tell me why. I can't get better if I don't know where to improve.​

6) I don't have an infinite volume of free codes, and they eventually expire. If you want one, ask today, and be understanding if I'm out for the audiobook you wish to review.

 

That's it, the whole deal. This is a simple trade, you get a free audiobook, and I get reviews.
